Batman could be wearing ultra high tech, ultra new vantablack clothing. Claiming absorption of 99.9% of light it tricks your eye to make you think that there is nothing there! What a technology! The villains would never see him coming...

1.) On the left is a picture of carbon nanotubes. It looks like rolled up chicken wire. However, it is one atom thick and made just made of carbon. In this products discovery in 1991.
2.) Yes, VANTA black carbon nanotubes exit.
3.) Black is the absence of light. The more black something is the more light it is able to absorb, thus the less light that bounces off the material. Even though we see objects that are painted black it is usually easy to see that there is an object there because of the amount of light that reflects off of it. VANTA black carbon nanotubes have reduced the reflective light by 40% which makes it seem like there is a void.
